The honest watch-out: Royal-class ships do not have a traditional outdoor wrap-around promenade deck. If walking the ship's perimeter outdoors matters to you, this is a meaningful absence.

The Princess Theater hosts full production shows. Camp Discovery handles youth programming for ages 3-17 with age-separated activities. The honest trade-off: Royal-class ships don't have waterslides, go-kart tracks, or the high-adrenaline infrastructure Norwegian and Royal Caribbean market to teens. If teenagers expect those features, set expectations before booking.

Princess's base fare is competitive but gratuities, drinks, and Wi-Fi are all separate charges unless you add Princess Plus ($60/day) or Princess Premier ($80/day).
