Disney Treasure: The Honest Adventure-Themed Wish-Class Guide
Disney Treasure launched December 2024 as the adventure-themed Wish-class ship β Aladdin, Coco, Zootopia, Jungle Cruise. Here is how it differs from Disney Wish and Destiny, what Plaza de Coco delivers, the AquaMouse Curse of the Golden Egg story, and who should book Treasure vs the other Wish-class ships.
Disney Treasure launched December 21, 2024 as the third Wish-class ship and the second to arrive before Disney Destiny. Where Disney Wish is enchantment-themed and Disney Destiny centers on villains, Disney Treasure is built around adventure β drawing inspiration from Aladdin, Coco, Zootopia, and Disney theme park classics including the Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The ship's Grand Hall draws on the grandeur of Asia and Africa, paying homage to Agrabah from Aladdin. Key exclusive venues include Plaza de Coco (Coco-themed dining), the Skipper Society lounge (Jungle Cruise tribute), Haunted Mansion Parlor, and Periscope Pub. Disney Treasure sails 7-night Eastern Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral.
Disney Treasure's rotational dining rotates your service team across three main venues throughout the sailing. Plaza de Coco is exclusive to Treasure β a vibrant Mexican dining experience inspired by the film Coco, set in the town of Santa Cecilia with live music and character appearances. Worlds of Marvel returns from Disney Wish in a new rendition with different story elements. 1923 also returns from Wish in an updated form honoring Walt Disney's founding year. All three main dining venues are fully included in the base fare. AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg is Treasure's version of the water flume β a new story following Mickey and Minnie into an ancient temple, running the same 760-foot track as Disney Wish.
Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny are sister ships on the same Wish-class hull, sailing similar Eastern Caribbean itineraries from Florida ports. The experience difference is entirely in the theming: Treasure is adventure-focused (Aladdin, Coco, Jungle Cruise) with a warm, culturally-inspired aesthetic drawing on Asia and Africa. Destiny is darker and more theatrical β centered on Disney's iconic villains with Haunted Mansion dining and a dramatically different Grand Hall atmosphere. Both carry the same AquaMouse water attraction (different stories), same Palo and EnchantΓ© specialty dining, same Castaway Cay private island stop, and same Disney crew service quality.
Disney Treasure prices significantly higher than comparable mainstream 7-night Caribbean sailings β typically 2-3x Royal Caribbean or Norwegian base fares at equivalent cabin categories. What's included that mainstream lines charge extra for: complimentary soft drinks throughout the sailing, all character encounters and meet-and-greets, Broadway-caliber productions including the premiere of Disney The Tale of Moana exclusive to Treasure, and no casino onboard. What still costs extra: Palo and EnchantΓ© specialty dining, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers, Castaway Cay cabana rentals.
Disney Cruise Line is the gold standard for family cruising β immersive theming, exceptional kids programming, and the kind of service that justifies the premium price.
